Description

• Prepare and process financial transactions, including invoices and payments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
• Provide support during audits as required.
• Collaborate with the wider team to improve financial processes.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

• A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

Job Offer

• Hourly pay of approximately £20.90 to £24.10, depending on experience. (including holiday pay)
• A full-time role with 37.5 hours per week, based in the office.
