Accounts Assistant

Description

• Assisting with financial reporting and data analysis.
• Maintaining the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems in order to ensure complete and accurate records of all monies.
• Assisting with preparation of budget, financial forecasts and variances.
• Managing journal entries, invoices etc. and reconciling accounts for the monthly or annual closing.
• Supporting in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assisting with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
• Participating in internal and external audits, and dealing with queries.
• Providing administrative support as needed.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
