Description

The Accounts Assistant will do the following duties;

• Invoice Processing: Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
• Payment Processing: Preparing and processing payments, possibly through various methods.
• Reconciliation: Reconciling vendor statements with internal records.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of vendor information, payment records, and other financial documents.
• Expense Reports: Processing employee expense reports.
• Data Entry: Entering accounting information into the system.
• Vendor Relations: Communicating with vendors to address billing issues.
• Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of financial report

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
