Accounts Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a critical short-term finance role with one of our clients!!

The client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a finance department that needs immediate support. The role is focused on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and they need someone with hands-on experience in both areas, ideally within a company setting (manufacturing experience is a bonus, but not essential).

Here are the key points:

• Contract until end of September
• Pay: £16.40
• Days: Monday to Friday - -
• Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  - Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM
• Address: Birkenhead, Liverpool
• Immediate start
• Minimal settling-in period - they need someone who can get stuck in from day one
• Training provided on their legacy ARP system (25+ years old), but strong AP/AR knowledge is essential
• Strong negotiation skills are a must - some supplier relationships need rebuilding due to previous issues
