Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Are you looking to break into finance or take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a switched-on, enthusiastic individual to join a busy finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment. No prior finance experience necessary – just a proactive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:

Bank reconciliations for the Debtor account
Updating debtor remittances to the ledger and site-based systems
Completing supplier set-up forms
Uploading sales data from site systems
Managing debtor queries
Coordinating and facilitating meetings with sites regarding outstanding debt
Producing and distributing bi-monthly debt reports

What we’re looking for:

A motivated, confident, and detail-oriented individual
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues across departments
Good Excel and IT skills
Someone who enjoys problem solving and takes ownership of their work
