Our SME client is looking for an Accounts Assistant for about 2 months, happy to be mainly remote after the first few days for a hand-over.
Your new role
You will be supporting the Finance Manager, and you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments. You will also be responsible for performing regular bank reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end processes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of processing purchase ledger invoices as well as bank reconciliations, ideally working knowledge of Xero. Strong organisational skills, a good eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
What you'll get in return
This is an interim role for circa 2 months. It can be remote, but you will need to visit the office for the first 2 days to get a handover, so you will need a car.]
