Accounts Assistant

Our Market-leading client is now offering a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the finance team as an Accounts Assistant. Our client is looking for someone with experience within accounts to join the finance team and hit the ground running. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is immediately available or has a reduced notice period to come and support the finance team through this exciting period of growth. Although, this opportunity will start off as a temporary assignment there is a high prospect of it going permanent as you grow within the business.

The successful candidate for this role will have a background within accounting and have a passion to use their skills in a professional environment. The candidate will also require exceptional interpersonal skills allowing them to confidently communicate with the senior stakeholders of the business. The responsibilities you will take on are processing accounts payable invoices, manage accounts receivable invoices, reconcile vendor statement reconciliations, support the finance team with VAT submission preparation and provide administrative support to the finance team.

Ideally, you will:

• Have previous experience in a finance or accounts role allowing you to hit the ground running.
• Have experience with foreign currency, although this is not essential it would be advantageous.
• Have strong interpersonal skills to deal with queries in a professional manner.

• Proficiency when using Excel and other accounting software where you are capable of manipulating data.
