Accounts Payable

Macildowie are working with a client based in Leicester to recruit a highly capable Accounts Payable Specialist on a 12-week temporary basis. The role is office-based, paying up to £16 per hour (or equivalent to around £30,000 per annum, depending on experience), with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

This role is all about impact - you'll be stepping in to support the AP Team Leader, taking ownership of critical processes and being the key bridge between Accounts Payable and Sales Ledger. Ideal for someone used to working in high-volume, large-scale finance teams who can hit the ground running without needing close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as an information conduit between AP and Sales Ledger teams

• Manage Prompt Payment processing and conduct Payment Run Analysis

• Own and deliver GRNI Analysis

• Confidently oversee end-to-end AP processes

• Add value from day one in a fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - desirable but not essential

• Significant experience in AP, particularly within a large business

• High-level coordination and communication skills

• Able to work independently and take the lead on key AP functions
