Job Description - Accounts Payable

An innovative fintech business based in West London is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team on a temporary basis.
Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the business supports global financial transactions across multiple currencies—including FX and crypto.

Office based 4 days a week.
Start date: ASAP
Hourly rate: £16-20ph

Key Responsibilities

Process high volumes of invoices accurately using Sun accounting software, across GBP, FX, and crypto currencies.
Support Accounts Receivable by managing incoming payments and resolving billing queries.
Prepare, schedule, and execute payments to vendors, including digital asset transactions.
Maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers by managing enquiries and resolving discrepancies.
Carry out regular reconciliations of bank accounts and ledgers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Recommend process improvements to enhance AP/AR efficiency.

Key Skills

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
Ability to work high volume and fast paced environments
Previous experience in fintech, FX, crypto, or financial services preferred.
Proficient in Sun accounting software and Microsoft Excel (desirable).
High attention to detail and accuracy with large transaction volumes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
