Accounts Payable - 9 Month FTC

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to manage all payment transactions in our Accounting & Finance department. The ideal candidate will be adept at processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring prompt payment of expenses.

Description

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, from invoice processing to timely payments
• Reconcile account balances to maintain accuracy and financial integrity
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; negotiate favourable payment terms when needed
• Prepare and present payment status reports and expense forecasts to support budgeting
• Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and audit standards
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and insights
• Contribute to broader accounting functions and special projects as needed

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
