Accounts Payable Assistant

I am currently partnering with one of our International Law Firm clients, on the recruitment of a Accounts Payable Assistant. This role is a temporary postion, for a fixed term period of 6 months. My client are looking for someone who is early in their career/ at Graduate level, looking for their first role in Legal Finance and eager to learn and grow.

Key responsibilities:

• The timely and accurate posting of all supplier invoices, ensuring appropriate approval and
• coding in line with firm policy and compliant with VAT regulations.
• Reconciliation of supplier statements against the purchase ledger, liaising with internal
• stakeholders and suppliers as appropriate.
• Posting of professional disbursements to client files to enable a timely billing of such. Subsequent
• payment of disbursements in line with the SRA Accounts Rules.
• Processing of staff expenses, ensuring appropriate approvals, accurate coding and a timely
• reimbursement cycle.
• Reconciliation of office credit cards and all direct debits. Ensuring all expenditure is coded,
• approved and posted in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handling general queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Education and Experience

• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
