Accounts Payable Assistant x 2

We are seeking two detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Assistants to join our Accounting & Finance team in Cheltenham. This temporary role requires candidates to have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of working with suppliers and experience working in Accounts Payable previously.

Description

• Process invoices, ensuring correct approval, coding and matching
• Prepare payment runs and direct debit payments
• Resolve supplier and internal queries
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Maintain and update the Accounts Payable ledger
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance team as necessary
• Comply with all company and industry regulations
• Assist in month-end reporting and reconciliation

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

• A strong grasp of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency working with accounting software
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
