Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary to Permanent)

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing high-volume invoices.

This is an urgent requirement, so applicants who are available immediately or at short notice will be prioritised.

Main Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciling a high volume of supplier invoices
• Handling queries from suppliers and internal teams in a timely manner
• Preparing payment runs and ensuring the accuracy of all transactions
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes

Required

• Proven experience in accounts payable, ideally within a high-volume environment
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy team setting
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred
