Accounts Payable Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly and dedicated finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong finance administration skills who can hit the ground running and support the smooth financial operations of our school

Description

• Processing supplier invoices and ensuring timely payments
• Reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies
• Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
• Maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with school policies
• Supporting the wider finance team as required

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Officer should have:

• Previous experience in an accounts payable role
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational goals
• Good working knowledge of financial systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
• Experience in an education environment is desirable but not essential

Job Offer

• A competitive hourly rate of £12.82 - £13.59 per hour
• This is a temporary position to provide cover during a busy period. The contract is expected to last for 2 months with potential for extension
