Accounts Payable Supervisor - Leading Media Agency

Location: Central London | Hybrid Working (3/5 days in the office) | Temporary | 30k - 37k

A globally leading media agency is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their onshore shared service team on a temporary basis, with strong potential for a long-term role

You'll work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments to agency media suppliers, fully compliant with company policies and statutory financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, assign tasks, and guide Supplier Account Coordinators
• Reconcile supplier account statements to verify accuracy of payments
• Liaise with finance, agency buying, treasury, and shared service teams
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and media suppliers to resolve invoicing queries and discrepancies, ensure accurate payments and address internal stakeholder enquiries
• Support month-end accounting close and cash forecasting

The Person:

• Proven Accounts Payable experience at a Supervisor level
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, controls, and best practices
• Ability to lead, motivate, and work independently
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Confident in using automated AP technologies
