Location: Chawton, Alton, Hampshire (On-site)
Pay Rate: £12.71 – £16.00 per hour (Temporary Contract with Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We are looking for a diligent and organised Accounts Receivable Assistant to support the finance team in managing incoming payments and maintaining accurate financial records. This is a great opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation with a strong sense of mission and community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer payments and allocate them accurately in the accounting system
• Monitor the accounts receivable ledger and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Prepare and send customer statements and reminders
• Resolve customer queries in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with credit control and debt recovery processes
• Support month-end closing activities and reporting

About You:

• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
