This is a great opportunity for a finance graduate/Part Qualified professional to begin their finance career in a top company in it's field.

Location: Central London

The role:

  • Manage invoice processing from start to finish.
  • Allocate payments received from customers.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding outstanding balances.
  • Support month-end activities by preparing necessary documentation and assisting with reconciliations.
  • Respond promptly to queries from both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all accounts receivable administration queries, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Raise co-edition sales invoices and sub-rights invoices accurately, maintaining meticulous records for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Allocate cash received efficiently against outstanding invoices, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly within established deadlines.
  • Reconcile customer accounts regularly by reviewing statements, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues in collaboration with other departments.
  • Monitor outstanding debts proactively by following up with customers through polite reminders and effective communication strategies.
  • Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant documentation, assisting with reconciliations, and contributing to accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the Finance Manager or wider team, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Utilise Microsoft 365 applications effectively for data entry, reporting, and communication within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across finance and other departments to ensure seamless workflow and shared understanding of priorities.

The ideal candidate:

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills that enable you to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels as well as external partners.
  • A keen eye for detail that ensures accuracy when processing invoices, allocating payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality or professionalism.
  • Impeccable organisational skills that allow you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining thorough records.
  • A proactive approach combined with self-motivation that drives you to take initiative in resolving issues or improving processes.
  • Experience working collaboratively as part of a team within an office environment where mutual support is valued.
  • Good grounding in general administration practices gained through previous roles or education.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams for daily finance operations.
  • Professionalism and conscientiousness demonstrated through reliable attendance, punctuality, and respect for confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in a finance-related role is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for learning is highly regarded.
