Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location: Wetherby
Contract Type: 12-month contract

Our client located in the Wetherby area is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk for a 12-month contract.

You will be a driven individual with strong communication skills working in a well-established and friendly team.

Responsible for managing ledgers, ensuring timely cash collections, and maintaining minimal levels of debt.

Key Responsibilities

• Chase overdue accounts via phone and email
• Maintain accurate records
• Issue letters and pre-legal notices in line with company policy.
• Ensure accurate cash allocation and account reconciliation.
• Monitor credit limits and review accounts
• Resolve customer queries
• Complete credit control documentation
• Building strong relationships with colleagues and customers

Skills & Experience

• Credit control experience essential
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively
• Excellent telephone manner and written communication
• Team player with the ability to self-motivate
