We’re seeking a proactive Accounts Manager to lead the accounts function across our group of companies. You'll manage a small team, oversee financial operations, and play a key role in cashflow, reporting, and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support Accounts Assistants, including appraisals and HR matters
• Oversee cashflow management, supplier payments, VAT, PAYE, and reconciliations
• Create and manage customer invoicing, credit checks, and retentions
• Work with senior leaders to ensure strategic financial goals are met
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, and internal teams to support positive cashflow
• Drive improvements in communication and efficiency within the finance function

Requirements:

• Intermediate Excel and Sage experience
• Knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) preferred
• Strong understanding of cashflow and P&L management
• Experience in a leadership finance role within construction or similar industry
