Job Title: Admin/Finance Officer (L2Z2)
Location: 5 Pancras Square, Camden Council
Pay Rate: £20 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (16 June 2025 - 12 September 2025)
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS required

Camden Council is looking for a reliable and organised Admin/Finance Officer to join the Adults and Health team. This is a full-time on-site position, ideal for someone with strong admin skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:Act as the first point of contact for collections by clients, carers, and staff at the office.
Sort and file all incoming correspondence and mail in the absence of the apprentice.
Support recruitment processes and guide new starters.
Manage the Team Clerk inbox using intermediate Outlook skills.
Organise meetings and quality assurance panels; take and distribute accurate, timely minutes.
Book accommodation and transport; process purchase order forms for residents.
Maintain accurate records and systems (including MOSAIC), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with the Data Protection Act.
Provide high-quality, professional administrative support to the team.
Be a dependable presence in the team with strong attendance and initiative.
Experience in administrative and/or finance support roles.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Outlook and office software skills.
Knowledge of maintaining confidential records and databases.
Enhanced DBS is mandatory for this role.
