Job Description - Administration Assistant HR

Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for an HR Resourcing Assistant to work within the Cheshire Constabulary at the their Winsford HQ

Are you passionate about supporting recruitment processes and making a difference in the public service sector? Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Resourcing Assistant to join their team in Winsford on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the recruitment and promotions team while enhancing your HR skills!

Position Details:

Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £12.60
Working Pattern: Full Time
End Date: July 31, 2026

Important Note:
Due to police vetting criteria, candidates must have resided in the UK continuously for at least 3 years at the time of application.

Role Purpose:
As an HR Resourcing Assistant, you will deliver professional administrative and HR support across the end-to-end recruitment processes. Your contributions will ensure the team operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide top-notch administrative support to the HR resourcing team, including:
- Typing standard documentation and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Managing mailboxes, photocopying, scanning, and arranging meetings.

Assist in organising recruitment campaigns, events, and HR projects to meet deadlines.
Monitor pre-employment checks and other recruitment activities, ensuring compliance with policies.
Process and verify documents, managing sensitive information in line with GDPR.
Act as the first point of contact for queries, providing guidance or escalating as needed.
Support candidate assessments, marketing events, and interviews.
Maintain candidate information and run reports to support HR projects.

What We're Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications:
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience in an HR administrative role, particularly in recruitment.
- Experience in a customer-focused environment with a keen eye for detail.

Essential Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data management.
