• Salary: £14.36 PAYE per hour
• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Minute Taker to join the Safeguarding and Reviewing Unit Administration Team within the Children and Young People’s Service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver high-quality administrative support while handling sensitive information.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Live minute taking of conferences and ensuring the distribution of minutes to attendees post-event.
• Managing electronic diaries, sending out meeting invitations, and handling data input using Microsoft Office and dedicated social care recording systems.
• Dealing with enquiries from the public and internal/external professionals both on the telephone and face-to-face.
• Operating independently using your own initiative and as part of a team to support Child Protection Conference Chairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social care recording systems.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and emotive information with a strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
• Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a similar setting.
