Job Description - Administrative Assistant - Cantonese & English, Global Investment Firm

Do you speak Cantonese and English fluently? Are you looking to build a career in a global investment environment? We’re hiring a Cantonese-speaking Administrative Assistant to join a high-performing team supporting a global investment bank Birmingham.

This is an administrative role with a focus on expenses and invoicing—you’ll be supporting expense processes while coordinating meetings across international time zones.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Handling expense submissions and invoice tracking
Scheduling meetings and managing calendars across regions
Supporting travel arrangements and documentation
Collaborating with other Assistants to ensure seamless team support

What We’re Looking For:

Fluency in Cantonese and English
Previous experience in admin, customer service, or hospitality
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
A team-oriented mindset and professional approach

Additional Details

Contract: Initially 6–18 months, with a scope to progress within the company if you impress
Working Pattern: 5 days in the office (Birmingham City Centre)
Pay: £16–£18 per hour (inclusive of holiday)
