Sales Assistant

•    Annual Salary: £25,000, £12.82 per hour

•    Location: Thatcham

•    Job Type: Temp to perm, Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with one hour for lunch, office based

A leading manufacturer with over sixty years of expertise in telescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars, and other accessories. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in processing customer orders and maintaining excellent customer relations.

Day-to-day of the role:

•    Process customer purchase orders efficiently.

•    Upload invoices to customer portals and ensure accuracy.

•    Investigate any customer queries in collaboration with the warehouse manager.

•    Liaise with the accounts department on customer matters and credit control issues.

•    Respond promptly to customer queries and emails.

•    Perform additional office duties as necessary to support the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    Previous experience in sales processing, particularly with Amazon sales orders and queries.

•    Proficient in SAP, specifically SAP Business by Design.

•    Ability to respond effectively to customer calls and emails.

•    Strong multitasking skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

•    Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

•    Flexible and positive team attitude.

•    Excellent communication skills.

•    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•    Friendly and outgoing personality, with a passion for working with people.
