Job Description - Administrator

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a leading distribution centre based in Andover. This is working on a 4 on 4 off shift and is a temp to perm position.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the compilation of weekly transport statistics
- Assisting in the management and recording of road transport directive
- Ensure that all staff are debriefed in conjunction with the debrief system and that all paperwork is compliance
- Ensure reports are produced in an accurate and timely fashion
- Handle day to day queries from drivers, customers, and other internal departments
- Liaising with stores to keep them up to date with any delivery problems
- Tachograph control in line with legal requirements
- To carry out 'front of house' duties in issuing paperwork, fuel card, keys etc
- To assist department in taking all drivers phone queries and logging calls
- Undertake control of the yard, Manhattan, and Paragon computer systems
- Temperature monitoring

Requirements

- Experience within a similar transport role
- Excellent telephone manner
- Proficient with Microsoft Packages
- Ability to work under pressure
- Available immediately
- Excellent organisational skills

The Transport Administrator Role:
- 6am - 6pm, 4 on 4 off shift pattern
- Temp to perm role
- Paying £12.21 per hour
- Overtime after 48 hours per week, paid at £15.93 per hour
