Are you ready to make a difference in the community? Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Universal Credit Administrator to join their dynamic team in the Income Collection Service Area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and is eager to contribute to the smooth operation of Universal Credit processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an office administrator or in a relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management software.
  • At least a GCSE 'C' grade in English and Mathematics.
  • A clear understanding of social housing and Universal Credit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage travel arrangements, agendas, and appointments for the Debt Recovery Team.
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Create and maintain records and databases related to personnel and financial data.
  • Prepare timely reports and engaging presentations as assigned.
  • Administer the Universal Credit Landlord Portal and secure email communications.
  • Be the first point of contact for Universal Credit inquiries via phone.

A full current driving licence is required, as you may need to drive a Council vehicle after completing a driving test.
This role may involve a standard/enhanced CRB check.
