Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – London Borough – Remote Working – £55–£60 per hour Umbrella – Full Time (4-Day Condensed Week Considered)

Venn Group is currently supporting a vibrant London Borough with the recruitment of an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis.

Details:

• Job Title: Adult Social Care Lawyer
• Hourly Rate: £55.00–£60.00 per hour Umbrella depending on experience
• Length of Contract: Minimum of 3 months with strong likelihood of extension
• Working Pattern: Full-time preferred; open to candidates wishing to condense hours over 4 days
• Location: London
• Remote Working: Fully remote working is available; monthly in-person attendance is preferred

Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to manage a busy and varied caseload with minimal supervision. Matters will include:

• Court of Protection work
• Ordinary Residence disputes
• Care Act matters
• Judicial Reviews

Please note: This role does not require any advocacy.

Preferred experience:

• Strong practical experience in adult social care law within local government
• Ability to manage a complex caseload independently
• Familiarity with key legislation including the Care Act 2014
• Experience handling court-related adult social care matters
