Adult Social Worker

Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Adult Social Worker to join their team based in Portsmouth

JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £35 - £40 (Dependent on experience)
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: Portsmouth

JOB SUMMARY
The Social Worker will be managing a case load of patients and responsible for their discharge. This could community options or sourcing placements.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Assessments to determine an individual's care and support needs, and then regularly review these assessments to ensure the support package remains appropriate.
• Support plans are current and relevant, they help mitigate the risk of individuals entering crisis situations.
• Duty to ensure that adults at risk are safeguarded from harm.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Social Work Qualification
• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE)
• Completion of the Skills for Care ASYE Programme or equivalent demonstration
  of professional capabilities if alternative route to social work (e.g. non-UK based initial year in practice) or pre-ASYE qualification
• Experience working in an Adults team
