Advanced Practitioner - Adult MASH (Peripatetic Role)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join Adult Social Care in a peripatetic role providing expert safeguarding support and practice leadership across key service areas.

You'll initially be deployed to the Adults MASH team to help stabilise and enhance the quality of decision making, with the flexibility to move across other ASC teams depending on service needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional oversight and decision-making in the Adults MASH team
• Triage and assess complex safeguarding referrals
• Support and mentor less experienced staff, acting as a point of escalation
• Promote a strengths-based, person-centred approach
• Liaise with key partners to ensure effective multi-agency safeguarding responses
• Contribute to continuous service development and best practice sharing
• Be flexible and ready to support other ASC teams where service pressures arise

To be considered for the role, ideally you have:

• BSc in Social Work (or equivalent)
• Social Work England registration
• Significant post-qualified experience in Adults Social Care
• Strong safeguarding and MASH knowledge essential
• Experience in supporting or supervising social workers
• Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills
