Advanced Practitioner - Court Team (Bradford Trust)

Lead the way in representing children's best interests in court.

Bradford Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our dedicated Court Team. This is a challenging and rewarding role for a social worker with expertise in advocating for children within the legal system.

About the Role:

Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on complex court cases involving children.
Conduct thorough and timely assessments, preparing comprehensive reports and court statements.
Represent children's voices in court proceedings, providing expert testimony and advocating for their best interests.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers, promoting best practice and professional development.
Lead on complex cases, often involving multiple agencies and challenging circumstances.
Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous quality improvement.


Requirements:

Registered with Social Care England.
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Significant experience in court work within children's services is essential. Proven experience in a supervisory or advanced practice role is highly desirable.
Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to family court proceedings.
Excellent assessment, communication, report-writing, and advocacy skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.
Commitment to ethical practice and child-centered approaches.
