Position: Advanced/Senior Practitioner

About the Role:

As an Advanced/Senior Practitioner, you will:

• Play a key role in leading high-quality, child-focused social work practice.
• Offer expertise and support to less experienced practitioners, including mentoring those undertaking their ASYE and beyond.
• Take responsibility for complex casework and help shape best practice within your team.
• Contribute to the learning and development of others, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
• Act in a supervisory or practice development capacity, ensuring that all work meets statutory responsibilities and high professional standards.

This role is ideal for social workers who have completed their ASYE and have at least 3 years of post-qualifying experience, including significant contributions to practice development and learning within their teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified social worker registered with Social Work England
• Minimum of 3 years post-ASYE experience
• Proven ability to handle complex cases and safeguard children effectively
• Experience in a supervisory, mentoring, or practice development role
