Aircraft Engineer

A leading UK-based engineering services provider is seeking a skilled B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support base maintenance operations at its Staverton facility. This is an initial 6-month contract role which involves the maintenance of EC135 and H145 rotary aircraft under Part-145 regulations. The organisation is known for delivering critical support across complex, high-stakes environments, with a strong focus on safety, technical excellence, and mission readiness.

This contract position has an hourly rate up to £65 per hour and has been deemed outside IR35 and will be based at the Staverton, Gloucestershire facility.

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and modifications on rotary aircraft.
• Collaborate with certifying staff and supervisors to ensure compliance with CAA regulations.
• Support line maintenance and liaise with internal departments to meet operational targets.
• Maintain hangar facilities and uphold safety and lean practices.

• EASA/CAA Part-66 B1.3 AML (EC135 and/or BK117D2 type ratings preferred).
• Category C AML required; B2 AML desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge of rotary aircraft systems.
• Experienced in UK aviation, ideally in HEMS or Police operations.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.
