Your new role
As an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and supportive communities by managing and resolving reports of anti-social behaviour. You'll be the key point of contact for victims and witnesses, using your expertise to assess risk, take appropriate action, and work collaboratively with partner agencies. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Frome, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week for 5 months. The position pays £18.67 per hour and requires candidates to be Somerset-based with a valid driving licence.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing ASB cases from initial report through to resolution, ensuring a professional, impartial, and victim-focused approach.
• Engaging with victims, witnesses, and alleged perpetrators, conducting interviews and gathering evidence while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Liaising with external partners such as local authorities, police, and health services to coordinate responses and share intelligence.
• Preparing legal documentation including notices and court bundles, and supporting legal proceedings through to enforcement.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records in the case management system, ensuring compliance with safeguarding protocols and internal procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in ASB case management.
• Ideally from a Local Authority or Social Landlord background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Based in Somerset with the ability to work in a hybrid model.
