SAP Application Support Engineer - Contract | London (UK-based)

We're working with a global consultancy on a key digital transformation project within the financial services sector. They're seeking an experienced SAP Application Support Engineer to join a collaborative and high-performing team, focused on supporting a critical payments platform.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in owning technical decisions, engaging with cross-functional teams, and delivering scalable solutions. You'll also be hands-on in developing on HANA, managing incidents, and providing expert-level application support.

Essential Skills:

• Strong SAP ABAP (Object-Oriented) development experience
• Hands-on experience with SAP Payment Engine (FS-PE) or similar financial processing modules
• Proficiency in SAP on HANA and best practices in incident/problem management
• Experience supporting enterprise-level environments within regulated industries, ideally banking or payments
• Strong communicator with a collaborative, solutions-driven mindset

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to SAP Deposit Management or SAP Payment Central
• Functional SAP knowledge in addition to technical expertise
• Prior consultancy or client-facing project experience
