Join a leading legal firm as a Application Developer to join its Business Solutions team.

A great opportunity for a junior to mid-level technical professional looking to gain hands-on experience across both application support and development, within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the customisation of off-the-shelf systems and applications, contributing to both the legal applications and development teams. Day-to-day work will include delivering MI via SSRS, automating Word documents using VB/C#, and supporting workflow enhancements across core legal platforms.

Key Skills and Experience

• Essential (must have at least one of the following):
• Proficiency in Microsoft SSRS for reporting and dashboard creation
• Experience in Microsoft Word document automation, including field codes, macros, and VB-based scripting.

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Visual Files or similar case management systems
• Experience with SQL and basic data queries.
• Knowledge of C# or VB.NET
• Exposure to scripting tools such as PowerShell or Visual Files scripting
• Understanding of professional services IT environments, ideally within legal
• Comfortable working with templates, back-end edits, and light custom development
• Ability to interpret business needs into effective, user-friendly technical solutions.
