Certain Advantage is hiring for an APQP Specialist based in Broughton.
This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.

We’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role:
This role is for an APQP Specialist—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.
You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Leading the implementation of APQP methodologies and tools
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, production, and quality assurance, to develop and execute APQP plans.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
• Define and optimise manufacturing processes and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Facilitate design reviews, process validations, and other APQP-related activities to ensure product and process readiness for production.

The Individual We’re looking for people who can show:

• Education to a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Manufacturing Engineering, with a focus on APQP and quality planning in the aerospace or aeronautical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of APQP methodologies, tools, and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, such as AS9100, and their application to aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in risk assessment techniques, including FMEA and control plan development.
• Process optimisation, Lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
