Art Teacher

ART AND DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER FOR A SEN SCHOOL

Academics Ltd is seeking to appoint a qualified Art and DT Teacher on behalf of a 'Good' Ofsted rated SEN School based in B36 Birmingham. This is a maternity cover post and it will be up until the end of the academic year July 2025. The school are looking for someone who will be available full time.

The successful candidate must hold QTS/QTLS/NQT.

The pupils have an EHCP and diagnosis of Autism, possibly associated with SEMH.

The successful candidate:

• Must have a QTS and experience of working with SEN students.
• Must have excellent behaviour management skills
• Must have the desire to work in a diverse, challenging but rewarding environment
• Must be calm and collective and able to bring enthusiasm and initiative to their role
• Must be able to encourage progression
