Temporary Art Teacher Required - St Albans, Hertfordshire (Autumn Term)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in St Albans, Hertfordshire, seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher for a full-time, temporary assignment starting in September, for the Autumn Term.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist educational setting that offers a nurturing environment, with small class sizes of 2 to 8 students, enabling you to deliver highly engaging and individualised lessons. The position has become available due to staff changes, and the school is seeking someone who can make an immediate and positive impact for the term.

What We're Looking For:

• UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Minimum one year of experience teaching in UK schools
• Confident in planning and delivering Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• Full-time availability from September through December (Autumn Term)
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• A genuine passion for Art and inspiring creativity in young people
• Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with students and staff
• Legal right to work in the UK
