About the Role
As our Art Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning by ensuring that materials, equipment, and classroom spaces are well-prepared, safe, and inspiring. Working closely with both staff and students, you'll help create a stimulating environment where art can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain art materials and equipment for lessons and practical sessions

• Assist teachers in setting up displays and exhibitions of student work

• Ensure safe storage and handling of tools and art supplies

• Support students during practical lessons, encouraging safe and effective working

• Help maintain the cleanliness and organisation of art classrooms and resources

• Has a background or strong interest in art and design

• Is practical, organised, and resourceful

• Enjoys working with young people in a creative environment

• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Is proactive and takes initiative in maintaining a productive learning space
