Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and growing business based in Plymouth. We’re looking for a talented and motivated Artworker to join their busy in-house design team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a creative and fast-paced environment.

As an Artworker, you’ll be involved in a wide range of projects including packaging, promotional materials, and digital graphics. You’ll work closely with designers to produce high-quality visuals for both print and web.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and adapt artwork from existing templates in line with brand and creative guidelines
  
  
• Prepare artwork and images for print and digital use, including retouching when needed
  
  
• Support the design team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
  
  
• Produce and manage print-ready files for packaging and marketing materials
  
  
• Organise and maintain design files within the internal system
  
  
• Clearly communicate and present design ideas when required
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  
  
• Solid understanding of print processes, colour profiles, and file formatting
  
  
• Experience designing materials such as packaging, leaflets, posters, etc.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail with good typography and layout skills
  
  
• A creative portfolio demonstrating a range of design work
  
  
• Knowledge of branding and the retail industry is an advantage
