Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse learners in a nurturing and innovative environment? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist school committed to empowering students with autism to reach their full potential.

In this role, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with autism, fostering their academic and personal growth.

• Implement individualized learning plans under the guidance of experienced educators and therapists.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches, including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to support communication, social skills, and independence.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

• Monitor and track student progress, contributing to regular assessments and reviews.

• Support students during transitions, breaks, and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have experience working with children or young people with autism or other special educational needs.

• Possess a compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting students.

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

• Are committed to continuous professional development and are open to training in specialized methodologies such as ABA.
