Asset Officer

I am currently recruiting for an Asset Officer for a period of around 3-6 months.

The role will be based in Glasgow and will involve some travel and a minimum of 1 day per week in the office.

The main duties of the role will be :

• Responsibility for planned projects and adaptations within the properties to include preparing sketches, technical specifications/descriptions of work and to obtain contractor's quotations
• Provide onsite project management of planned refurbishments and major repairs from inception to completion in order to efficiently deliver the approved programme in compliance with the allocated budget
• Draw up specifications, obtain quotations, issuing tenders, providing tender reports, obtaining approvals and issuing contracts in line with policy and procedures

You will have to have experience undertaking a similar role and a relevant technical HNC or above would be preferred. Start for the role is as soon as possible.
