We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Assistant Accountant to join our valued clients Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial reports, supplier statement reconcilliations, daily bank reconcilliations and other relevant duties.

Description

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Supplier statement reconcilliations.
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Credit control and sales ledger duties.
• Purchase ledger duties.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Supporting the finance department with any ad-hoc tasks.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Sound knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
