Assistant Accountant

Assistant Accountant needed in Caerphilly, £17.79ph - Reference: 5269635

• Support the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant in the provision of financial management information relating to specific grant programmes with advice to services within the Corporate
• Services Directorate and the Economy and Environment Directorate.
• Provision of financial advice and accounting support to grant managers including production of designated grant budget monitoring reports, financial submissions and management information, preparation of service budgets, grant claims and financial outturn.
• Contribute to the effective monitoring and evaluation of designated grant programmes including any re-purposing of the funds withing the constraints of the grant terms and conditions.
• Preparation of budget monitoring reports and provision of financial information as required in accordance with approved timetables

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
