This temporary to permanent role offers a competitive salary of between £35,000 - £37,000 per year with the opportunity to play a crucial part in supporting the companies growing business. As an Assistant Accountant, you'll work alongside experienced Management Accountants, contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial control processes are completed accurately and on time

• Gain exposure to a diverse range of finance activities, from month-end tasks to balance sheet reconciliations

• Make a tangible impact by supporting process enhancements and contributing to the overall success of the finance function

Preferred Requirements:

• Prepare and enter monthly journals, supporting the team in uploading transactions to the finance system
• Assist in analysing Capex & Fixed Assets, purchase orders, invoices, and other balance sheet reconciliations
• Contribute to the development of finance processes, controls, and procedures by engaging with colleagues across the business
• Respond effectively to information requests and queries from the business, demonstrating strong communication skills
• Provide general finance administrative support as needed, showcasing your adaptability and willingness to take on diverse tasks

• AAT qualified or studying AAT at Level 3 or Level 4
• Previous experience working in a finance or accounting environment
• Proficient Excel and any ERP system preferably SAP
