Assistant Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is proud to be working exclusively with a thriving service-based business located in Waterlooville.

Due to a recent increase in workload, the company is seeking a Temporary Assistant Accountant to support their finance team.

This interim position is expected to last for a minimum of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

What will the temporary Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Month-end support, including accruals and prepayments, P&L and balance sheet
• Nominal ledger coding
• Transactional finance, including both sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations and credit control

Suitable Candidate for the temporary Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• A self starter, good initiative
• Excellent knowledge of finance
• A working knowledge of Sage would be an advantage
