BAE Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Cash & Liquidity Accountant to join our dynamic Shared Services team. Operating across three UK locations, our team provides crucial financial services to BAE Systems businesses both domestically and internationally

Key Skills

• High degree of numeracy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with various accounting systems & ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, LN).
• Experience working to strict deadlines and delivering quality service.

The Job:

• Process non-automated payments and resubmit any failed payments.
• Post daily cash transactions to ERP systems before deadlines.
• Prepare and present weekly cash forecasts.
• Support RPA processes for payment run generation.
• Resolve stakeholder queries related to payments and cash postings.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Assist with audit support and document management.
• Collaborate on process automation initiatives to streamline services.
