Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a part-time Assistant Accountant to join our small but established client. This role is perfect for someone who is meticulous, efficient, and possesses strong communication skills. Experience with Xero is essential.

• E-mail sales invoices to customers, ensuring correct internal and VAT analysis.
• Manage e-mail and phone communications with clients, and ensuring payment of outstanding invoices.
• Reconcile Xero Accounts Receivable to ensure it agrees with the Sales CRM system.
• Input supplier bills, ensuring correct internal and VAT analysis.
• Reconcile Xero Accounts Payable to ensure it agrees with Fulfilment Budgets (Excel spreadsheets).
• Prepare ad hoc reports as required and if time allows.

• Proximity to Wimbledon.
• Commitment to the full duration of the assignment. August till November
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work quickly but accurately.
• Effective communication skills, capable of working well within a small team environment.
• Proficiency in Xero is mandatory.
