Your new role
The client is seeking a part-qualified assistant accountant to join their finance team for 12 months. Key responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of month-end processes, including prepayments, accruals, depreciation calculations and journals
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and undertake investigative work to provide commentary and identify issues as needed
• Act as a point of contact for external auditors, answering queries and providing evidence
• Assist in preparation of the statutory accounts for FRS102 financial statements and in the preparation of management reporting packs
• Assist in systems migration from SmartStream to Workday

What you'll need to succeed

• Part-qualified accountant
• Two years' experience completing month-end tasks in Workday
• Previous experience assisting with audit
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
