Assistant Accountant Cost Control

We're seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant (Cost Control) to join an exciting project within the Energy & Natural Resources industry, based in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate should be skilled in cost control, accounting, and finance operations.

• Assist in cost control and accounting operations.
• Prepare financial reports and statements.

• Contribute to budgeting and financial planning.

• Collaborate with finance team to optimise financial operations.
• Provide support to the finance department as needed.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant (Cost Control) should have:

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially SAP.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

Hybrid working, Monday to Friday 8.30 - 5.30pm - 40 hour week
